Burnt Barrel Brewery & Distillery is an independent brewery and working distillery in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri. What started as a meadery has grown into a local producer of whiskey, bourbon and other spirits, while still producing and serving mead.
We make and age spirits right here in Lake Saint Louis, experiment with limited releases and unusual barrel finishes, and have expanded into distribution while operating a 21+ tasting room with craft cocktails, food and weekly events.
In a region teeming with distilleries, wineries, breweries and cocktail bars that show off the Midwest's appeal, Burnt Barrel Meadery & Distillery in Lake St. Louis is adding its own unique twist to the scene.
Burnt Barrel started as a meadery and gradually grew into something much larger. Today, whiskey and other spirits are being made and aged right here in Lake Saint Louis while the business continues to serve the mead that started it all.
One of the comments we still hear surprisingly often from local customers is:
"I live five minutes away and had no idea you guys were here."
That has become part of the Burnt Barrel story: a working brewery and distillery producing spirits in St. Charles County that many nearby residents are still discovering for the first time.
